The vertical lines and whitewash serve as a screen or curtain, spotlighting a scene, a place, a viewpoint, while offering a sense of seclusion. Concurrently, it obscures and reveals the past and future. It's a contemplation of our role and obligations within the landscape, with trees as the timeless, silent observers."
