Stefan Gevers has been running Botanical Art and Contemporary watercolour classes in Melbourne since 2009. He is a professional, award winning, exhibiting artist with over 25 years experience. He has a Bachelor of Fine Art. Over the years Stefan has taught accredited courses at CAE and Tafe with excellent student feedback and has run workshops and masterclasses Internationally and Interstate. His approach to teaching is to build a supportive environment and allow the individual to express their style and confidently develop throughout the sessions.
Jessie Rose Ford specialises in floral and botanical art. Jessie is a professional exhibiting artist whose work has most recently received a Highly Commended Award from the Royal Botanic Gardens in Melbourne. She has a Bachelor of Illustration, specific training in botanical art, and recently spent 6 months travelling from Melbourne to Cairns via Mount Gambier in SA, she has held 14 workshops in small towns and cities, arriving in Cairns for a 2 week Artist Residency at the Cairns Botanic Gardens. Having never travelled so far North this adventure was a fabulous way for her to explore Australia's diverse natural environments while sharing her knowledge and engaging with different communities.
Rebecca Jones Melbourne based Rebecca Jones has been a full time practicing artist since 2005. She has completed studies as The New York Studio School of Painting Drawing and Sculpture and The University of South Australia. She has held numerous residences around Victoria and exhibits regularly and often conducts workshops in new media, drawing and collage. Rebecca brings a fresh approach to exploring traditional subjects by encouraging students to explore and learn in a variety of methods.
Mark Dober is a leading Australian watercolourist who specializes in plein-air landscape. Mark’s most recent exhibition, You Yangs, was held at Geelong Art Gallery and featured multi-sheet watercolours. Mark’s watercolour painting is regularly shortlisted for prestigious national art prizes including, in 2017, the John Glover Prize, NSW Plein Air Painting Prize, and the Tattersalls Art Prize. Mark regularly runs workshops in oils, watercolour, and mixed media. He has a PhD in Painting from Monash University and is a regularly published art writer.
