Contemporary Watercolour Workshop with Stefan Gevers
Discover a fresh, modern approach to watercolour in this immersive hands‑on workshop led by contemporary artist Stefan Gevers. Designed for both beginners and intermediate painters, the workshop focuses on cultivating a calm, intuitive painting practice while exploring colour, composition, and learning essential skills.
Participants will learn how to:
• Create atmospheric washes and subtle gradients
• Work with water as an active collaborator rather than a tool to control
• Build contemporary abstract and landscape‑inspired compositions

Stefan guides the group through demonstrations, structured exercises, and individual support, helping each participant build confidence while exploring their own creative voice. TUTOR: Stefan Gevers
Stefan Gevers Contemporary watercolour classes in Melbourne since 2009. He is a professional, award winning, exhibiting artist with over 25 years experience. He has a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree. Over the years Stefan has taught accredited courses at CAE and Tafe with excellent student feedback and has run workshops and masterclasses Internationally and Interstate.

Terms & Conditions Due to the nature of running the classes we can not give refunds or transfer or transfer your class to next term, unless classes are cancelled. Please make sure you have selected the correct date before booking and if for some reason you can not make the class/workshop you can send a friend in stead!
If due to Covid Lockdown the workshop can't be facilitated, the workshop will be postponed to a later date. Refunds can not be given unfortunately.
